Terms & Conditions – Thistle Speech Therapy

2. Services Provided
The Platform provides a matching service only, connecting families and schools with qualified speech and language therapists. We do not provide therapy, give medical advice, or guarantee therapy outcomes. Therapists are responsible for their own professional practice.

3. Professional Governance
All therapists registered on the platform must comply with:

  • Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) standards.

  • Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) professional guidelines.

4. User Responsibilities
Users must:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information.

  • Respect the privacy and rights of other users.

  • Follow all UK laws and professional guidelines.

5. Payment and Fees
Any fees for services, subscriptions, or bookings are shown clearly on the platform. All payments are handled securely by third-party providers. Users are responsible for paying any applicable fees.

6. Cancellation Policy

  • Thistle Speech Therapy does not manage therapy bookings directly.

  • All cancellations, rescheduling, or refunds must be arranged directly between the therapist and the family/school.

  • We recommend that users agree on a clear cancellation and refund policy with the therapist before booking.

  • The Platform is not responsible for any missed appointments, fees, or disputes arising from cancellations.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.”

  • We are not liable for the professional actions, errors, or outcomes of therapists.

  • Any therapy arrangements are strictly between the therapist and the family/school.

8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform, including logos, graphics, and text, is owned or licensed by us. Users may not copy or distribute content without permission.

9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for breaches of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or illegal conduct.

10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, UK. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Scottish courts.

11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
